The first two Development Awards were made tonight (16th Jan)
We have an 8 year old yellow belt called Ema Condac, who has shown great potential for poomsae (Technical) competition. Ema will receive funds from our new development fund to cover the cost of her entry fees for the Lanarkshire Open. We feel this will be a great opportunity for her and could lead to great things in future competition poomsae.
Central TKD announced the new funding facility to parents of new beginners and intermediates and it was really well received!
The second award went to Bethany Dewar.  Bethany is a 12 year old red belt who has been selected for the national poomsae squad.
As a result of this she will be attending the GB Open International in London and squad training in Manchester.
This involves a massive financial outlay.  Without the award she may have to miss some of the training and this could impact on her future development.
