2023 saw the return of the Battle of the Bands competition at Larbert High School.  Once again we were honoured to support the winners award which is a day in Homegrown Studios with the music maestro Andy Taylor!

The winners this year were a band who are just in the first year of the school and it’s School of Rock and Pop. They were amazing – they had a bagpipe player and snare drummer playing along with them as well, very impressed!  Comments from one of the teachers, “They all had matching t-shirts and all – they were just fab and it was amazing to see with them only being S1 with the potential to come from them

Yeah, so not to worry – the this group will be in the academy for quite a few years to come, and can only get better!!
