A beautiful day for the official opening of our Carron Dams Gateway Sculptures. Our Art & Design Scholar, Josh Hale designed this wonderful archway. We spent a lovely evening at the Scottish Book Trust reception in the Scottish Parliament last night. We are very pleased to have supported Amelia Puchala (right) who has self managed the publication of here poems. Amelia is pictured here with Gail Ross MSP and fellow WYS colleague Elspeth Nicol.
NASA Advisor and STEM Ambassador, Deb Grubbe, flew from the US to spend three days with the the pupils at LHS and hand out the awards at the Junior and Senior Prize evenings. Deb did this as gift to Kiran’s Trust. Everyone enjoyed the experience — Thank you Deb!!
